Sadhna Bhardwaj

Sadhna Cordell, though still widely known by her maiden name, Sadhna Bhardwaj (which remains linked to her email), is one of the co-founders of Madison Management Services (Madison), a company established in 2007. Prior to this, she served as the Director of Financial and HR Systems in Information Technology for one of the largest real estate companies in the United States.

She transitioned from that career to work full-time as a private lender, alongside her husband of 23 years, Kevin Cordell, with a focus on buying, managing, and liquidating defaulted mortgages. After reviewing the third-party servicing options available at the time, they identified a significant gap in the market for a servicing company that understood the specific needs of investor-lenders like themselves.

Madison is based in beautiful Reno, NV. The business originally started in New Jersey but relocated to Nevada in 2019, just before the pandemic. Initially, Madison serviced only their own growing portfolio, but by 2010, they began offering services to other investors with smaller portfolios seeking a more reliable and personalized approach. At the time, Madison was licensed in six states and soon started expanding into others.

Today, Madison services residential mortgages, including land contracts, partials, etc., in 48 states and Puerto Rico. The company is also licensed in 37 states to originate loans and offer refinancing options to qualified homeowners. The team can underwrite and prepare Dodd-Frank compliant documents for all states, except for attorney states like North and South Carolina.

Sadhna and Kevin have two sons and are grandparents to three wonderful grandchildren. In her free time, Sadhna enjoys reading and relaxing in her backyard, taking in the beautiful mountain views.
